HARD STANCE - 7'eps (the only 2)
Hard Stance were a great straight edge band
that shared the stage with the likes of Insted,
No For An Answer, Chain of Strength,
Uniform Choice and many more.
And guess who's playing guitars on this record?
Zack delaRocha. Yes, Before he sang for Inside Out,
and long before the commercially hay days of
Rage Against The Machine, Zack played guitar
for Hard Stance. Trivia?

FUELED BY FIRE - Spread the Fire

Just like everything else, music is cyclical. Genres that
were popular a generation ago resurface, sometimes
with a new twist and sometimes just like it used to be.
There seems to be a real resurgence of thrash metal lately,
which for fans of classic Bay Area thrash is really cool.
Awesome fast thrash metal!

CONQUEST FOR DEATH HAD ARRIVED!

Devon and the rest of CFD arrived 4am exactly at the centennial airport, luckily i was able to wake up that early to pick the guys up. All's well, no hassles from the airport authorities, there were only a few people at the airport during that time so everything went cool and as planned. We went straight to Jeffs condo knowing from the looks of their eyes that they badly need a good sleep. It was awesome seeing the guys again and karoline after 12 years since their last visit here in the PI. Dane from KILLRATIO came at 12noon to pick the guys up for their lucena gig. Be sure to watch them tommorow for the Cainta/manila gig. sorry guys no shirt available just cds, they ran out of shirts on their recent tour but rest assured these guys will you a run for your money on their wild live set. check out the poster for details and directions of the gig. ayt? see yah in the pit!! 665+1

LIFE'S BLOOD - Discography

LIFE'S BLOOD - Discography
Damn! you aint into NYHC if you dont have this one
Life's Blood started circa 1987, and weren't really
around for very long, but they had a great sound
going with their mix of NYHC and some elements
of Oi/street punk (not to mention their politics).
Most notable is probably their song "Never Make a Change",
which was supposedly a major calling out of Youth of Today.
Adam Nathanson, and Neil Burke also went on to form
the legendary Born Against.

BLOODCLOT - Burn Babylon Burn 2007

BLOODCLOT - Burn Babylon Burn 2007
BLOODCLOT!'s sound combines classic New
York hardcore intensity with extreme metal precision
and brutality. It's the sound of the New York
underground rising again. The members of BLOODCLOT!
are no strangers to the genre. Singer John Josep
h is the former frontman of legendary NYHC pioneers
Cro-Mags. Drummer Danny Schuler was a founding
member of Brooklyn's Biohazard. Bassist Rick Lopez
comes from NYC's Merauder, Guitarist Scott Robert
s is a former member of Cro-Mags, Biohazard and
Cleveland HC legends The Spudmonsters, and Guitarist Eric
Klinger is from Pro-Pain and The Spudmonsters. Despite
a hardcore lineage, the band's songs break out of any
and all genre confines. They blend slick metallic riffs
with hardcore hooks, while steam rolling rhythms
spearhead the assault. Their self-produced debut,
Burn Babylon Burn! is bound to set a new
hardcore standard.

LEEWAY - Born to Expire

LEEWAY - Born to Expire

A Queens, NY-based hardcore/metal quintet
from the late '80s/early '90s, Leeway was born
out of the New York Hardcore scene. Often touted
as one of the pioneers of the scene, Leeway were
one of the first, followed by many, to inject metal and
hip-hop sounds into the hardcore format. After years
of local hardcore shows and opening for national Metal/thrash
acts like Exodus, Nuclear Assault, and Suicidal Tendencies,
LEEWAY busted out nationally, with their release of
their debut album Born to Expire in 1988

WIDE AWAKE - 25 Song Discography

WIDE AWAKE - 25 Song Discography
Legendary straight edge band from the late 80's Connecticut straight
edge movement.who made their name known by opening up
for a lot of influential bands of the time at the Anthrax.
Their live show was awesome, tons of stagediving and
singalongs, and they were like real hometown heroes to
the local Ct. scenester kids. The cool thing about them is
that they were always down for rep'ing Ct., and they
even put "CT. Hardcore" on their ep that they did on
Schism records, which at the time was a pretty bold move
considering that NY was the cool place and the
surrounding states didn't get much respect.
